Account Representative, Location: Halifax or Truro, Nova Scotia

Our client, a Canadian Leader in the distribution of veterinary products, has an immediate requirement for a highly motivated and industry experienced Account Representative for Atlantic Canada. Home base is where you want it to be.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Business Development, the Account Representative will be responsible for maintaining and further developing a network of accounts in Atlantic Canada. A strong sense of drive and focus on sales and business development combined with a commitment to superior customer service, this individual will be responsible for maintaining and growing current business and developing new customer opportunities in a very prosperous territory. This individual must demonstrate the ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond quickly to client needs while representing and promoting services and various promotional campaigns. The ability to establish sales targets and strategies and track and report on sales success is critical. Proven knowledge in veterinary clinic sales in addition to an established network within the local market will be considered a definite asset.

The ideal candidate will have a post secondary education coupled with three years previous sales experience Animal Health sales. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills are required along with the ability to develop and nurture customer relationships.
